Our Story

Weaving a learning journey since 2004.

The Leadway Model School was founded in 2004 by Chief (Mrs.) Grace Adeyemi, an educator of 35 years who believed that the children of Ikere-Ekiti deserved a school where academic rigour and character formation carry equal weight.

What began with 38 pupils and a small block in Ikere has grown into a co-educational day school serving over 900 learners across Crèche, Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Primary, Junior Secondary, and Senior Secondary — while keeping the founding promise: every child known, every child challenged, every child loved.

Today, Leadway students consistently record outstanding BECE, WAEC, NECO and UTME results, and our alumni thrive in universities across Nigeria and beyond.
